Signature Sundays at Meat Market Palm Beach

At a Palm Beach restaurant known for its Prime-grade cuts of beef and its contemporary spin on the traditional swank steakhouse, how much will an 8-ounce New York strip set you back? You’d be right if you pegged the price at around $30 or so. And also right if you figured around $15. It’s a sign of the times, as in post-high-season restaurant-deal times.

Starting Sunday at Palm Beach’s Meat Market, the restaurant’s Prime “signature” steaks (with the imprimatur of Meat Market’s executive chef Sean Brasel) are half price on Sundays. Normally, a full or half 16-ounce Chicago Prime New York strip is $58 and $29 respectively; a full or half 12-ounce Prime filet mignon is $47 and $26 respectively; and a 16-ounce Prime ribeye is $45.

Now do the 50-percent-off math and those prices start at $14.50

Signature Steak Sunday at Meat Market, 191 Bradley Place, will be offered through the summer to guests in the dining room, as well as those seated at the bar and lounge, where daily happy hour serves up its own perks.

Happy hour in the bar and lounge, 4-7 p.m., features such drink specials as $7 signature cocktails, and a bar-bites menu with items ranging from $2-apiece oysters-on-the-half-shell to a daily ceviche ($9) and a duo of Kobe beef sliders with bacon and Gouda cheese ($14).
