GSTAAD PALACE--Family Summer Holidays or Romantic Mountain Hide-away at the WALIG HUT

Bring your family to Gstaad Palace and your kids stay for free! Or opt for a Romantic Glamping adventure at the Walig Hut

Kids aged up to 15 years can stay for free in their own room, a saving of up to CHF 375 per child per night, breakfast and dinner at the Grand Restaurant included.

Between June 21st and September 12th 2015, two children travelling with their parents can stay in their own direct connecting room at no extra charge, for a stay of five nights or more.

To make sure you get to see the best of what the region has to offer for families, we will also arrange a complimentary visit to the Cailler chocolate factory with a tour and chocolate workshop, as well as a stopover at a local Alpine farm or zoo, where your children can see and play with the animals, and learn how to make cheese.

If all this wouldn’t be enough…our kids club offers great activities for the little ones every day in July and August, and our kids playing rooms, outdoor playground and pool are at your disposal any time.

So what’s the catch? There isn’t one that we can see! But here is how it works…

  • Offer available for limited dates and rooms during the summer.

  • Offer cannot be combined with other packages or offers.

SOME LIKE IT HUT!! -- A Romantic Glamping Adventure in a Magical Place

The Palace Hotel coined the term 'glamping with their new old summer mountain hub located 1700 meters above the nearby village of Gsteig. An award winning Alpine pasture from the late 18th century, Walig Hut was named 'Best Wilderness Hotel' by Condé Nast Traveller. This former summer home to a local farmer family, and is now offered to a discerning couple seeking a luxurious but truly alpine experience during their stay at the Gstaad Palace.

A one night get-away to this magical Alpine destination is now available for those ready to tear themselves away from the ultimate luxury The Palace Hotel offers and embark on a true Alpine experience--without sacrificing the Palace's 5 star service.

Intoxicatingly beautiful, thanks in part to Maurizio, who welcomes the privileged guests with drinks and nibbles of the Bündnerfleisch-- regional dry-cured meat. Next he gets to work at the wood-fired stove, where he stirs up a rich, smooth cheese fondue. A stunningly beautiful day draws to a close with the guests left to savor a serene 200 year old kingdom, audibly guarded by cows.
