Introduced as an event at this year’s Winter Olympics and with Gstaad playing host to an annual tournament – Gstaad Palace is introducing Slopestyle tutorials for guests looking to expand their skiing repertoire. One of the most popular events on extreme snowsport circuits, slopestyle sees skiers and snowboarders perform difficult tricks off jumps with the most varying amount of trick types performed confirming the winner.
For something a little less arduous, yet equally exhilarating, guests can hitch a ride with a snow groomer to explore the mountain by night. As it crawls up and down near vertical pistes guests can witness nocturnal Alpine wildlife and dazzling wintry snowscapes by moonlight.
Another way to see the resort by night, Gstaad Palace can arrange a ‘sleigh ride to supper’ on their very own sleigh with a glühwein and canapé stop under the stars along the way.
Introducing the Gstaad Palace Ski Butler
Gstaad Palace’s newest team member will greet guests on the mountaintop with a hamper filled with delectable sweet treats, savoury snacks and cheeses. After finding a suitable spot to sit down he’ll serve a sumptuous slopeside picnic accompanied by chilled champagne or warming glühwein.

For something a little different, this winter Gstaad Palace re-introduces their ‘Igloo Experience’ with the opportunity to stay in an individual igloo - with private Jacuzzi - and return cable car transport.
